Just wanted to share this “last of summer” mani with a floral dip I’d been waiting to use! Dip powder is how I delved into teaching myself DIY nails (more on that later!) and even though it’s time-consuming, nothing beats the strength of a dip manicure. The above short is a little sneak-peak into my process! It’s taken lots of frustrating moments and I’m still a perfectionist with my end-results (meaning I’m never satisfied, ha!) but there’s something great about being able to say I’ve done them myself. <3
Here is a list of the products I used:
- Sensitive dip base and activator liquids by Revel Nail (enjoying these! There’s no chemical smell in this base!)
- “Bloom” pink by Revel Nail
- “Tulip Bloom” by Sol Dips
- Clear dip powder to encapsulate flower dip
- Regular dip glossy topcoat (I’ve been using the vitamin e ones that Erin sent me from shopdipology)
Also, if you’re super curious about the whole dip nail process, I’ll drop this video here that I filmed 2 years ago! I talk through the whole thing step-by-step:
Aaand that’s a wrap! Feel free to follow me on IG @alleluiaisoursongblog for more nail inspo and I’ll continue to share here too! <3
Until next time, be well friends! And let me know what you think, or if you, too, love doing your nails.<3
Love,
